Nokia will displace 14 million cellphone chargers developed by China’s BYD Co Ltd as chargers could fall isolate and impact consumers to a risk of electrical shock. The spokesperson of Nokia, Doug Dawson said that they are undertaking the exchange programme as precautionary and proactive measure. He also said that they are not aware of any incidents or accidents due to the certain shocking models chargers. The world’s largest cellphone manufacturer Nokia said BYD would envelope all costs from replacement. The price of an average cellphone charger price to cellphone maker is around $1.
The coated plastic covers of the damaged chargers could come loose and apart, revealing the charger’s internal components that impacts to posing an electrical shock risk, when certain charger’s internal components are touched on plugging the charger into a live socket. For this the spokeswoman from BYD Jasmine Huang replies that the company will reveal the statement later, regarding the replacement of the chargers. She also stated on testing the chargers internally they have found some problems. Nokia proposed BYD to replace the chargers models AC-3E and AC-3U manufactured in between June 15 and August 9, AC-4U which is manufactured between April 13 and October 25. Nokia also request its customers to stop using the above model chargers and within the exchange programme replace it for free.

Intel is now charged by a federal lawsuit due to the impact of doing illegal threats to lead microchip sales. The attorney general of New York accuses Intel for doing bribery and coercion in order to make the computer manufacturers to buy its chips against his competitors. The investigation followed by the anti-competition federal lawsuit enduring almost two years, said by Andrew Cuomo. However Intel revealed the statement that the file suit taken against them is completely wrong. It also added that its products are consistently benefited the customers by low prices and enhanced innovation, which doesn’t need to do any bribery and there is no need to file a case against them.
Though Intel is not accepting the lawsuit maid against the company, but already Intel has been fined by European Competition authorities for $1.5bn (£948m). Cuomo said that Intel is the world’s largest semiconductors manufacturer company has the illegal conduct with worldwide systematic campaign. He also added that instead of fighting with against the rivals, Intel does bribery and coercion to lead a sales market. The illegal action done by the Intel not only blocked the potential competitors but also makes damage to the average consumers who were deprived for good products and lower prices. The main thing that makes Intel to be accused is paying million of dollars and even billions in past some years to the computer manufacturers and exchanges them to buy their chips.
The president of trade body computer and communications industry association Mr. Ed Black had said that Mr. Cuomo has filed a strong case against the bribery and coercion done by the Intel organization. He also added that the Intel will need to take action quicker to save him along with entire computer Industry. The main thing that to be notable here is, in the European case it states that Intel had paid some large amount of money for the manufacturers and retailers to favor its chips against the key competitor Advanced Micro devices within 2002 and 2007.

Google has incorporated the music into its search results in the United States from yesterday onwards at www.google.com. The addition of music search in the search results allows users to search for songs, albums and artists by name and receive links for the preview of audio and options for purchasing tracks or albums from Google’s music search partner Lala and MySpace. This service also helps users to search the songs by lyrics, if they don’t know the title of the song. Google said that this new service provides the traffic to the licensed online music services and brings more revenues for the artists, songwriters and music publishers by introducing the music seekers to the online music search.
The four major record labels that are licensed their catalogues for Google initiative are Warner Music, Sony Corp’s Sony Music Entertainment, EMI and Vivendi SA’s Universal Music Group. It is also expected of many independent labels to take part. The Director of Product Management Google Tom Stocky said that this launch of music search other than the content, video and images will be better connect people as well as bring more revenues for the artists, labels and others. The launch of this new music service shows the Google direct challenge to the Apple’s iTunes, the music download store that turns to the world’s top digital music retailer. Though 11 million songs are currently offered by iTunes, but it requires the set up of free software and account opening to function. If the Google has reached the success in its Music Search results then the business of Apple’s will get abandoned.

A new mobile phone charger that has the capability of working with any handset has been authorized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). It is expected by the GSMA Industry body of generating redundant chargers of 51,000 tonnes each year. Currently the chargers are used by the people are based on the product; hence they have to change the chargers if they upgrade to the new mobile phone. Nevertheless, the new chargers are more efficient in working and can be live for much longer. The GSMA also appraises that they will lower the annual greenhouse gas emissions by 13.6m tonnes.
The Director of ITU’s Telecommunication Standardization Bureau Malcolm Johnson said that, this is most important step in decreasing the environmental impact of mobile charging. He also added that Universal mobile phone charger is a common sense solution to be seen in other areas. The charger consists of micro-USB port at the connecting end that similar to the technology used in the digital cameras. The Universal chargers are not compulsory for all the mobile phone manufacturers but some of them have already agreed with ITU to use it. It is expected that the launch of the Universal charger will come to the market in the first half of 2010.

Windows 7, Microsoft’s latest Operating system is fixed to break the Sales Record from the day it has launched. The Online retailer Amazon stated that the Microsoft Windows 7 becomes more popular than the Harry potter and the Deathly Hallows. The company said that they have sold more copies with in three weeks of the launch than the older Operating System Vista sales in its first year. It is also noted that the queues in the stores outside to buy the Microsoft new operating System and the computer users are ready to upgrade their systems with the new Windows 7.
The Software is engaged to replace Vista which was considered as a failure operating system by many in the industry. After the launch of new operating system, Microsoft said that this new OS will be less cluttered and faster than the previous Windows version. Microsoft the largest software company in the world that powers almost 90 percent of the personal computer has received the good reviews about the launch of Windows 7. The company also hopes in get back the position in the new technology against its rivals Google and Apple.
Retailers believed in the new operating system and stocking up on USB-powered DVD drives in order to use with the netbooks. This is because Windows 7 is supplied on DVDs were the built in DVD drive is not present in most of the netbooks. Even the operating system can be applicable to purchase through direct download, but most of the customers are favor to keep a physical copy. The Operating System is also sold for the netbook owners of the United States on a USB flash drive, which is expected to break the sales records.

The new information has heard from the multiple sources stating that Google is ready to launch a Music service very soon. It also included that the company has already spent the last several weeks in securing the content for the release of the music service from the bigger music label. One source also said that the new Google music service will be termed as Google Audio.
Google has already released the music service in China that known as Google China music downloads service, which is launched in 2008. This service is only available in China, which allows the users to search music and download free of cost. But the many sources are gathering information and saying that the new Google music service is totally different from the service which is available in china.
They are also expecting that this new service will be launched at least for the U.S users, but doesn’t have any idea whether the service will be in the form of download or a streaming service. Google search engine already has the options to access the music, by just typing “music:” in front of the query. But this will not provide songs to download or streaming from those searches.
